Breaking: Sentencing the girl Nufoth Hammad from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood
Today, Sunday, the District Court issued an actual prison sentence against the Jerusalemite girl, Nufoth Hammad Jad Hammad, 16 years old, from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the city.
Mohammad Mahmoud, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, explained that the District Court sentenced the girl, Nufoth Hammad, to actual imprisonment for 12 years, 50 thousand shekels “compensation to the settler,” and a suspended probation for 3 years.
The girl, Nufoth Hammad, was arrested in December 2021, from her school in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and after investigations, the Public Prosecution charged her with “attempting to kill a female settler and causing her minor injury.”
The prisoner, Nufoth Hammad, is in Al-Damon prison. She was presented to the court today via “communication platforms” and was not brought to court.
