Day 134: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 134th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the Odeh family self-demolished their house in Silwan, and confrontations broke out in the Shu’fat refugee camp, and the restrictions on worshipers' entry to the Al-Aqsa Mosque continued.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center – Jerusalem explained that the Odeh family carried out the self-demolition of their house in the Bi'er Ayoub neighborhood in the town of Silwan, by a decision of the occupation municipality.
Ali Odeh explained that he was forced to carry out the decision to self-demolish his house, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Odeh explained that the area of the house is about 100 square meters.
Odeh pointed out that this is the second time his house has been demolished, under the pretext of building without a permit.
On the other hand, violent confrontations broke out between the forces and the youth in the Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
The forces used gas bombs and rubber bullets and sprayed waste water randomly in the streets of the camp, targeting residential buildings and shops, in addition to using live bullets.
The occupation authorities continue to impose restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa, by stopping those arriving to it, checking their identities, detaining them, searching them while standing against the walls, and randomly preventing entry to the mosque, especially for those under 45 years of age.
The occupation authorities also continue to prohibit sitting in the courtyard and steps of Damascus Gate, and the forces are stationed permanently inside the observation room and at the entrance to the gate.
