Day 198: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 198th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", settlers continue to prepare for the slaughter of “Passover offerings in Al-Aqsa Mosque,” and settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa and the forces’ raids of towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem have continued.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the settlers had been walking for hours on Sunday morning with offerings including goats and Capricorns, heading towards the city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, in an attempt to slaughter them in Al-Aqsa on the midnight before the start of the Passover holiday.
The settlers, who left several settlements “individually with the sacrifices,” said that they would go to Jerusalem this time to slaughter the sacrifices on the “Temple Mount,” as they claimed.
Calls also continued to prepare to organize storming of Al-Aqsa during Passover week, which begins next Tuesday and continues for a week, and is considered one of the main holidays for storming Al-Aqsa.
On Sunday, 181 settlers carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the morning and afternoon raids, and performed prayers during that.
Meanwhile, a partial strike took place in the city of Jerusalem, to mourn the souls of the martyrs of the “Nour Shams” refugee camp in Tulkarem.
The forces continued to deploy in the streets of towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem.
In the hours before midnight, clashes broke out at the Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint in Jerusalem.
