Day 219: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation
On the 219th day of “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, the raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued amid calls to intensify them next Tuesday and raise the Israeli flag. Arrests and raids also continued in the city of Jerusalem.
On Sunday, 105 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Dung Gate, guarded by the occupation forces, and the settlers performed their prayers during the storming.
The groups and organizations of the alleged temple and religious schools called for intensifying the raids on Al-Aqsa next Tuesday, on the anniversary of the so-called “Independence Day,” and for raising the Israeli flag during the raid.
Calls to raise 500 Israeli flags in Al-Aqsa began more than a week ago, and extremist groups and organizations encourage settlers to raise flags during the storming.
Meanwhile, the forces stormed the Maragha neighborhood in the town of Silwan in the morning, and arrested the boy, Wael Awaida.
The forces also attacked two young men on Salah al-Din Street, after stopping them, and arrested them.
The Negev Prison administration released the Jerusalemite prisoner, Iyad Al-Shalabi, after his administrative detention for 6 months.
