Day 242 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 242nd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the occupation municipality's bulldozers carried out demolition operations in the town of Silwan, and preparations and calls continued to carry out massive incursions into Al-Aqsa and participate in the "flags" march on Wednesday. The incursions into towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem also continued.
Demolitions
The occupation municipality's vehicles and crews, accompanied by special forces and police, stormed the Ein al-Lozeh neighborhood in the town of Silwan, and deployed in several streets in the neighborhood. Then, they stormed the commercial facilities of the Burqan family and began the process of demolishing them.
In the Wadi Al-Rababeh neighborhood, bulldozers demolished a horse barn for the young man, Ahmed Al-Taweel.
During the last two weeks, the occupation municipality escalated demolition operations in Jerusalem, especially of commercial establishments.
Al-Aqsa...continuous incursions and preparations for the "flags" march
Settlers' raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued during the morning and afternoon raids, and 133 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa and performed prayers in the mosque.
While preparations for what is called “Jerusalem Day” and calls to storm Al-Aqsa continue during the two periods of raids and raising of Israeli flags, and widespread participation in the “Flags Dance” march that starts from West Jerusalem all the way to the Al-Buraq Wall, passing through the Old City.
The "alleged temple groups" also called to gather at the Jaffa Gate on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m., "15 minutes before the end of the morning incursions period," and then head through the Old City towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, in an attempt to extend the incursions period from 7:00 p.m. -11:30 a.m.
The police also began placing barriers and iron barricades around the Old City.
In the evening hours, settlers stormed the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood, prayed, and raised Israeli flags as they walked through the alleys of the neighborhood. They also formed dance and singing circles inside a settlement outpost.

Storming towns and neighborhoods
Forces continued to storm neighborhoods and towns in Jerusalem and set up checkpoints.
In the Maragha neighborhood, the forces stormed homes and assaulted young men by beating and pushing them while they were in front of their homes.
Arrests...prison sentences
The court issued an actual prison sentence against the boy Saeed Mohammad al-Ghoul, from the town of Silwan, for a period of 9 months, financial compensation worth 4,000 shekels, and a fine worth 1,000 shekels, noting that he was arrested on 18/6/2023 and released a month later on the condition of house arrest until the end of the legal procedures against him; he surrendered himself to prison last December.
The Jerusalemite boy, Mohammad Mafarja, 16 years old, from Shu’fat refugee camp, was sentenced to actual imprisonment for a period of 6 months and a day, and he was released directly from the court, after his “administrative detention period” was reduced by two-thirds of the period according to the law, noting that he was arrested on 12/2/2024.
The young man, Majdi Al-Abbasi, from the town of Silwan, was sentenced to 12 months in prison, a fine of 4,000 shekels, and a 10-month of suspended probation for for 3 years. Al-Abbasi was arrested on 23/10/2023 and transferred several days later to administrative detention for 4 months. Immediately after the end of the period, the detention was renewed for 3 months, and on 21/5/2024, his administrative detention was renewed for the third time for a period of one month, and on Tuesday the ruling was issued against him after an indictment was filed during his period of detention.
The prisoner lost his eye in the month of Ramadan in 2021 during the forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The police arrested two children from the town of Beit Hanina.
