Day 340 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 340th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", settlers continued their raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the forces carried out a demolition operation in the town of Shu’fat, and also continued their raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem.
240 extremist settlers and Jewish students raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed prayers there, under the protection of the occupation forces.
The raids were carried out during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, through the Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of the city of Jerusalem.
In the morning hours, the forces, accompanied by municipal vehicles and crews, raided the town of Shu’fat, and demolished a car wash, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The municipality also raided the villages of Jabal al-Mukabber and Issawiya.
The forces arrested a young man at the Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint in Jerusalem.
Closure of Nafha and Ramon prisons
On his part, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that due to the spread of scabies, the Ramon and Nafha prisons were closed, and all prisoners in the two prisons will not attend the sessions "in person or through the Zoom application" due to the spread of scabies among the prisoners.
Assault on a young man
After midnight, settlers severely beat the young Jerusalemite, Daoud Hamouda, 20, in the "Bnei Brak" area, north of Tel Aviv.
Diaa Hamouda, the young man's uncle, explained that contact with Daoud was lost after midnight, as he was returning home to Jerusalem, and the family learned that their son was in Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv, in critical condition, through friends who were at the hospital by chance. Hamouda added that Daoud was suffering from bruises, cuts and scratches all over his body, and had been in critical condition for the past few hours. In the evening hours, he was able to talk to the family, but he was still under the influence of medication.
According to the injured young man, a group of settlers blocked his way with a car, then got out of it, prevented him from driving and moving forward, pulled him out of his car and beat him with sticks and electric shocks, in addition to punching and hitting him repeatedly, and then he lost consciousness.
Hamouda explained that the young man Daoud cannot talk about the details of the incident and does not remember all the details, due to the pain he is suffering from. Hamouda pointed out that the family went to the Tel Aviv police to find out what happened to their son and the location of his vehicle, mobile phone and personal belongings, but the family was not dealt with.
