Martyr Hatem Ghaith
The child Hatem Sami Ghaith, 13 years old, was martyred during the forces' storming of Qalandia refugee camp north of the city of Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the child was shot in the abdomen, which led to the rupture of the intestines, and was transferred from the camp "the place of injury" to the Palestine Medical Complex, and his martyrdom was announced.
Eyewitnesses explained that the child was standing in an area with two other children "where there were no confrontations, gatherings, or soldiers", and an occupation bulldozer was several meters away from them, and they were surprised by opening fire towards them, which resulted in Hatem being injured in the abdomen, and the two children in the thigh and hand.
The occupation forces stormed Qalandia refugee camp from the early morning hours until the evening hours, during which they carried out raids on houses and a large-scale arrest campaign, and abused the detainees and led them as human shields through the streets of the camp. They also assaulted the residents with beatings and continuous threats, and deliberately vandalized homes and damaged furniture, and confiscated vehicles during the raid.
Violent clashes broke out in Qalandia refugee camp and extended to the town of Kufor Aqab.
The Red Crescent said that its crews dealt with 14 injuries during the storming of Qalandia refugee camp and Kufor Aqab, 12 injuries by live bullets and “one of the injured was declared dead", a head injury, and a child was injured after falling down.
The Qalandia Media Center said that the forces arrested 22 young men during the storming of the camp.
Al-Aqsa raids
147 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem, and performed their collective and public prayers in Al-Aqsa.
A group of settlers placed a red hat bearing the slogan of the Republican candidate Donald Trump campaign for the US presidency "Lets Make America Great Again" in front of the Dome of the Rock during the storming, and took pictures during that.
As part of the ongoing restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa, worshipers explained that the forces prevented young men from entering Al-Aqsa to perform the dawn prayer, and assaulted one of them by beating and pushing him.
Continuous raids
In the evening, the occupation forces stormed the village of Sur Baher, raided the Attoun family home, and assaulted the residents with beatings, tear gas, and pushing.
The forces also stormed towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and set up checkpoints in the streets.
Incitement against Sheikh Ekrima Sabri
The settlers demanded the demolition of the house of Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Council and preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem.
The "Pedino" organization, one of the alleged Temple organizations, published on its various platforms its demand to the Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, to demolish Sheikh Sabri house in Al- Sowaneh neighborhood immediately, on the pretext that it is illegal. It designed a link to collect signatures for the purpose of demolishing the house.
Sheikh Sabri;s house is located in a residential building consisting of 5 floors.
Demolition of a room
The Jerusalemite Jawad Bashir continued to self-demolish a residential room, in the town of Silwan, on the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Bashir explained that the room had been built since 1953 from bricks, and after damage occurred to it, he restored it, and years ago the municipality imposed a fine on him in the amount of 7 thousand shekels, then the final demolition decision was issued a month ago.
