Demolition, fines and summonses to follow up with the municipality
On Monday, the occupation municipality forced Ammar Obeid to self-demolish part of his house in the village of Issawiya under the pretext of building without a permit.
Ammar Obeid explained that he recently added a 16-square-meter room to his original house, and the municipality issued a decision to demolish it.
The municipality crews, accompanied by the police, stormed the village of Issawiya in the morning, and distributed demolition and orders to stop construction and summonses to follow up with the municipality.
Meanwhile, the occupation municipality and police forces stormed neighborhoods in the town of Silwan; in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood, they fined Zuhair al-Rajabi, head of the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood committee, 3 fines worth 475 shekels each, under the pretext of the presence of "a chair in front of his house, a garbage can, and surveillance cameras".
Khaled al-Zeer was handed a decision to demolish the balcony of his father's house under the pretext of building without a permit.
