Closure of facilities and arrests
February 2, 2025

The occupation authorities closed a bookshop in the Old City of Jerusalem for 30 days, under the pretext that it sells incitement books.

In the village of Wadi al-Hummus, south of Jerusalem, the forces closed a commercial facility for 20 days, under the pretext of "employing a worker from the West Bank" without a permit. The forces arrested the young man and the owner of the facility, the police said in a statement.

The forces continued to arrest Palestinians holding West Bank IDs under the pretext of entering Jerusalem illegally. The police said that last week they arrested 311 young men from Jerusalem and the surrounding areas, and arrested 37 young men on suspicion of "helping to transport and shelter them."

On the other hand, the intelligence service summoned the Jerusalemite woman Aida al-Sidawi and handed her a decision to ban her from entering Al-Aqsa for a week, with the possibility of renewing it.
