Silwanic director Jawad Siyam’s appeal rejected
Wadi Hilweh Information Center director Jawad Siyam's appeal was rejected by the Jerusalem Central Court today. The court has given the Jerusalem police until 11am tomorrow, 7 January, to produce clear evidence in support of the assault charges laid against him. If the assault cannot be satisfactorily proved to the court, Siyam will be released tomorrow.
Police laid another, classified, charge against Siyam during his case in the Jerusalem Magistrates Court yesterday. Details of this charge have not been made available to Siyam or his legal counsel.
