Delaying Court For 4 Men From Jerusalem Until Next July
The judge of the Magistrates’ Court delayed the hearing of five men from Jerusalem until 16th July 2013. Those arrested are Omar al Shalabi - the Secretary of Fatah in Jerusalem, Mousa al Abas - the head of the Palestinian Youth Parliament, Malek Hadad, Kayed al Rajabi and Fadi Abu Sabeih. They have been accused of attacking police officers, disturbing their work and participating in a non-legal demonstration. The case began in 2009 when the accused participated in activities at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, the capital of the Arab culture. They were arrested and released under bail and house arrest. However yesterday the police called them in and re-opened the case. The activists say it reflects Israeli policy in Jerusalem to terrorize them.
