One man sentenced ….Extension of arrest for 11 others and the release of another

The Israeli Magistrate court sentenced one Jerusalemite for actual imprisonment and extended the arrest of 11 others and released one man under conditions.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud from Al Dameer organization said that the Magistrate court sentenced Ahmad Al-Tawil for 3 months and one day of actual imprisonment on charges on throwing stones on the 8th of March.

He also said that the Magistrate court Judge extended the arrest of Eyad Al-A’war and his nephew Shadi until next Thursday, knowing that they were arrested in the early morning hours of Sunday as well as extending the arrest of his brother, Shidad, and Mohammad Asi Al-A’war until next Wednesday to continue the investigation.

The arrest of Jom’a Risheq was also extended until next Tuesday and Ahmad Abu Halaweh until Wednesday. Ismaeel Ahmad Abulhawa was released with a bail of 2000 NIS and house arrest of five days, knowing that they were all arrested on Al-Nakba day in Jerusalem.

The court also extended the arrest of Nadim Rfa’yeh and Mahmoud Hindi until Monday, knowing that they were arrested during the clashes in Damascus Gate on Sunday.

Mus’ab Abed Rabbo will be detained until next Wednesday as well as Izz Eddin Atwan in which an indictment will be submitted against him in the District Court.
