Sentencing a young man and two minors from Silwan and Qufor Aqab

The District court sentenced last Monday three Jerusalemites for actual imprisonment from Qufor Aqab and the village of Silwan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the District court sentenced the minor Mahmoud Jamal Mahmoud Sarhan (17) for 14 months of actual imprisonment and the 16-year old Khalil Amin Mohammad Abu Sand for 30 months of actual imprisonment. The Musta’ribeen forces arrested the two minors on the 5th of January 2013 who are residents of the middle town in Silwan. They were accused of throwing stones and Molotov cocktails on settlers. The District court also sentenced 32-year old Amir Munir Zghayyar for 2 years of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 10 months, knowing that he was arrested around a year ago. It is noteworthy that Zghayyar who is a former prisoner had spent 6 years inside the Israeli prisons. Amin is married and a father to one child and he is the brother of Ashraf Zghayyar who is serving a life sentence.
