Settlers attack Jerusalemites at Lions Gate Street

Several Jerusalemites were injured after Monday midnight after some settlers attacked them with stones during their night protest of the so-called “Destruction of the Temple.” Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that settlers attacked and injured a group of young men while they were passing through Lions Gate Street. The Center added that another group of settlers surrounded four Palestinian cars near Lions Gate and completely damaged three of them and injured the passengers and the Israeli forces were protecting the settlers and hitting the young men with batons. A march for the settlers on occasion of the so-called “Destruction of the Temple” was launched after Monday midnight from Damascus Gate towards the Wailing Wall and the Israeli forces blocked and closed many streets to secure the march.
