Extension of arrest for three young men and the release of a child

The Israeli police extended on Tuesday night the arrest of two brothers from Silwan to present them to the Magistrate court on Wednesday. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli forces arrested on Tuesday afternoon 19-year old Jalal Jamal Shkeir and his 18-year old brother Yehya; their family was informed of their arrest at 7 p.m. Jamal Shkeir told the Center that he received a phone call from the investigator in Salah Eddin Street police station at 7 p.m. to inform him that Jalal and Yehya were arrested without mentioning the charges submitted against them, and told him that they will transferred to Al-Maskobyeh to be presented to the Magistrate court’s judge on Wednesday. He explained that the family tried calling their sons all day but to no avail. In a related matter, the Magistrate court extended on Monday the arrest of Ahmad Dirbas from Esawyeh until next Sunday. The court also released 13-year old Abdullah Omar Shalabi last Sunday, with a 750- NIS bail and on condition of house arrest for a week as well as staying away from the old city, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Damascus gate for a month.
