Extending the arrest of three Jerusalemites from Silwan and the release of another

The Magistrate court judge extended on Friday the arrest of three Jerusalemites from Silwan until Sunday to submit an indictment against them. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the judge extended the arrest of 19-year old Jalal Jamal Shkeir and his 18-year old brother Yehya as well as 17-year old Mohammad Jweiles until Sunday to submit an indictment against them in the District court which includes charges of throwing stones in Damascus gate. Jamal Shkeir said that the young men were severely beaten while being arrested last Tuesday. On the other hand, the Magistrate court judge decided to release 34-year old Murad Ramadan with a bail of 500 NIS and banned him from being at the neighborhood of “Baydoun” in the village of Silwan for 30 days, knowing that he was arrested on charges of slashing the tires of settlers’ cars in Silwan.
