The arrest of a child and extension of arrest for 7 Jerusalemites and the release of a young man

The Israeli authorities arrested on Wednesday afternoon 15-year old Nour Salim Shalabi while he was coming back home from Jordan through the bridge.


Nour’s uncle, Omar Shalabi, explained that the occupation’s authorities detained Nour when he was coming from Jordan and they refused his mother’s request to bring him to the police station upon her arrival to Jerusalem and they informed her that he will be arrested from the bridge.


In a related matter, the Magistrate court extended the arrest of seven Jerusalemites and released one young man with a bail and conditions.


Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the Israeli court judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Abu Khdeir until completing the legal procedures against him, knowing that he was arrested on 31/07/2013 and also extended the arrest of Mahmoud and Shahin Alyan from Esawyeh until the 25th of the current month.


Mohammad also said that the judge decided to release Abedrabbo Alsharqawi with a bail of 20 thousand NIS and a third-party bail of 10 thousand NIS, in addition to house arrest until the legal procedures against him are completed, but the prosecution refused to release him and is intending to appeal the decision of the court, knowing that Alsharqawi is accused of attacking a settler on the 27th of July, 2013.


Mohammad added that the Magistrate court Judge decided to release Ahmad Atef Obeid with a bail of 3 thousand NIS and house arrest for 9 days, and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS.
