Extending the arrest of 11 Jerusalemites including a woman
The District and Magistrate court judges extended the arrest of 11 Jerusalemites including a woman on Wednesday. Mufeed Al-Hajj, prisoner’s club lawyer, said that the Israeli police extended the arrest of Naser Qos, director of prisoner’s club, and Aida Sidawi on charges of assaulting police individuals in the old city of Jerusalem. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the Magistrate court judge extended the arrest minors Mohammad Akram Abulhawa, Fahed Abu Sbitan and Mohammad Ali Abulhawa until next Monday on charges of throwing stones on settlers in Al-Tur and injuring several among them. He added that the District court judge refused to release three boys from Shu’fat refugee camp on Wednesday with bails and house arrest and they are: Laith Husseini, Mohammad Abu Rammouz and Ishaq Ateet. Instead, their arrest was extended until completing the legal procedures against them; note that the general prosecution is accusing them of throwing Molotov cocktails and rocks on occupation forces. The court also extended the arrest of Hamza Abbasi from Silwan until Sunday knowing that the session was confidential as well as the investigation that is being done in cells 20. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the District court extended the arrest of Adli Maragha until 24/10/2013 and Mohammad Abed Odeh until the 10th of next month.
