Israeli forces arrest a young man and suppress a protest against “Prawer Plan”
November 30, 2013

The Israeli forces arrested Mouath Musleh on Saturday night after suppressing a peaceful protest against “Prawer Plan” in the Negev. Dozens of Palestinians carried out a sit-in in Herod’s Gate against “Prawer Plan”. Before the start of the event, the Israeli police provoked the young men and checked their IDs. The participants chanted slogans against “Prawer Plan” and when attempting to start a peaceful march, the Calvary unit dispersed them by force; they were also sprayed with water in addition to being hit with batons. Witnesses said that Herod’s Gate turned into a hit and run area between the Israeli forces and young Palestinians who insisted on protesting despite the Israeli suppression; they finally managed to get to Damascus Gate.
