Wadi Hilweh Information Center revealed last Tuesday that the District Committee in the occupation’s municipality will hold a special meeting on Wednesday to discuss the building of a huge Jewish school in the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem. Mahmoud Qaraeen, a field researcher at the center, said that a special meeting will be held on Wednesday to discuss the building of a Jewish school in the land located between “Naseef gas station” and “Al-Hayat Medical Center” in the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah. The available information states that the school will consist of 7 floors where 4 will be underground and will be built on a 4-Dunoms land. He explained that the land was confiscated in the 1980’s under the pretext of “absentee property”, and pointed out that activist “Aryeh King” who is known for being active in the judaization of the city will participate in the meeting. Qaraeen said: “the discussion of such a project comes two days after the release of the veteran prisoners.” He expressed his astonishment for building such a huge religious school where several other religious schools for Jews are only meters away.
