The closure of the reception venue of freed prisoner Ahmad Khalaf to secure the settlers’ monthly march
January 1, 2014

Hundreds of settlers organized their monthly march on Wednesday night in the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem. The settlers walked in Al-Wad Street and were holding Israeli flags and performed their religious rituals near Al-Hadeed and Al-Qataneen Gates down to the Wailing Wall. The settlers knocked on the doors of the commercial stores and residential houses, and the merchants explained that the police forced them to close down their stores at 6:30 p.m. to secure the settlers’ march. The Israeli police also forced the family of freed prisoner Ahmad Khalaf to close the reception venue in Al-Qataneen market in order to secure the settlers and their march.
