The Jerusalem municipality raids the village of Esawyeh and takes pictures of buildings and establishments

The employees of the Jerusalem municipality raided on Tuesday the village of Esawyeh under heavy protection from the police. Mohammad Abu Hummus, member of the follow-up committee in the village, said that Israeli forces and employees of the municipality raided the neighbourhoods in the village and took pictures of the entrances and exits in addition to taking pictures of buildings and houses. In a related matter, the municipality raided the family house of the freed prisoner Samer Essawi. Samer’s father said that the municipality crews took pictures of the outside yard of the house and its alleys which consists of two floors and is a home for 14 individuals; note that the house was built in 1998 and the municipality imposed a 60-thousand NIS build violation fee which was paid.
