Extending the arrest of five lawyers and five other young men

The Magistrate court judge extended on Tuesday the arrest of five Jerusalemite lawyers until Thursday to continue interrogating them. They are: Shireen Essawi, Amjad Safadi, Amro Iskafi, Nadim Ghrayeb and Mahmoud Abu Sneineh; note that they are being interrogated in the cells of Al-Maskobyeh and the charges are being confidential. In a related matter, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of 18-year old Walid Alyan until Friday, 19-year old Mohammad Obeid and 19-year old Mahmoud Idris until next Sunday on charges of throwing Molotov cocktails; note that they were arrested on Tuesday early morning hours after raiding their homes in the village of Esawyeh. He added that the judge sentenced Malek Mheisen for 8 month. Malek is detained and is serving a 33-month prison sentence. Wadi Hilweh information Center was informed that the Magistrate judge also extended the arrest of Ala’ Zghayyar and Adli Najib for 8 days; note that they are being interrogated in Al-Maskobyeh cells.
