The Israeli forces arrested six Jerusalemites and injured six others during the suppression of Al-“Nakba march” at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed by the Jerusalemite activist, Mohammad Shalabi, that the Israeli forces arrested Yaser Qos and Musbah Abu Sbeih and the minors Abed Barbar, Hussam Ghneim, Mohammad Ramlawi and Ismaeel Khatib.
The paramedics’ crews said that six were injured with bruises due to being assaulted with batons on their legs and hands, and three were transferred to the hospital for treatment including member of the legislative council, Jihad Abu Zanid, and the paramedic Nidal Abu Gharbyeh.
The forces deliberately assaulted the journalists and paramedics and continuously pushed them and prevented them from doing their job.
The Special Forces prevented the march from moving forward and leaving the courtyard of Damascus Gate towards the streets of Jerusalem as they surrounded the participants from all directions.
The participants raised black banners that said “Palestine…All Palestine is ours”, and they launched black balloons in the sky of the city.
