Sentencing a child and three young men from Jerusalem
The Israeli courts sentenced on Sunday on child and three young men from Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the District court judge sentenced the 15-year old Mohammad Ahmad Aton, son of the Jerusalemite member of parliament Ahmad Aton, for 22 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 12 months for three years in addition to a fine of 2000 NIS and another 7000 NIS to compensate the settlers; note that he has been detained since the beginning of last December. Amjad Abu Asab, head of the Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, said that the Magistrate court judge sentenced Amjad Abdeen and Hamed Bebooh for 13 months of actual imprisonment and sentenced the Jerusalemite prisoner Mohammad Hidmi for 16 months and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years. Abu Asab explained that the prisoners have been detained for several months and were charged with conducting courses to rehearse Al-Quran at Al-Aqsa Mosque and in the city of Jerusalem.
