The locals of Silwan launch 3-day activities in solidarity with the prisoners
The locals of Silwan started on Wednesday morning activities in solidarity with the prisoners undergoing the hunger strike in the sit-in tent established in the neighbourhood of Al-Bustan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the activities will last for three days starting on Wednesday morning. The Friday Prayer is supposed to be held in the tent and the speech will be given by Sheikh Raed Fathi followed by a sit-in to support the prisoners. The Center was also informed that Sheikh Mousa Odeh announced on Wednesday that he will join the open hunger strike in solidarity with the prisoners; note that his son Mohammad went on an 8-day open hunger strike in solidarity with the administrative prisoners.
