Violent clashes in the neighbourhood of Ein Al-Lozeh and the forces arrest one young man
Violent clashes broke out on Sunday night in the neighbourhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that dozens of Israeli forces raided the neighbourhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in the car of the settlers’ guards and fired sound grenades and rubber bullets towards the residents, houses and cars. He Center added that the young men responded by throwing stones and Molotov cocktails towards the car of the settlers’ guards which led to the burning of parts of the car. Large Israeli forces cordoned off the mountain across from the neighbourhood of Ein Al-Lozeh and randomly fired grenades towards the houses. They also fired three sound grenades towards a shop for carpets in Ein Al-Lozeh. The Israeli forces arrested Samah Sarhan after raiding his house in the neighbourhood of Al-Bustan. The Center explained that the Israeli forces prevented the photographer of “Silwanic”, Majd Gheith, from recording the clashes and prevented him from reaching the neighbourhood of Ein Al-Lozeh; they also assaulted him and pointed their guns to his face.
