Sentencing Yehya Shqeir and his brother Jalal for 26 months of actual imprisonment
The District court judge sentenced on Thursday two brothers from Silwan for actual imprisonment. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed by the prisoners’ father that the District judge sentenced 18-year old Yehya Shqeir and his 19-year old brother Jalal for 26 months of actual imprisonment and a fine of 10 thousand NIS for each. Jamal Shqeir explained that his two sons were arrested in mid august of last year and were exposed to harsh interrogation in Al-Maskobyeh detention center and they are currently imprisoned in “Eshel” prison in Beer Sheva.
