Cancelling the decision of releasing 7 Jerusalemites within the “Shalit” deal

The District court judge in Haifa temporarily cancelled on Friday the decision to release 7 Jerusalemite freed prisoners that were released within the “Shalit” deal and extended their arrest until Thursday. The prisoners are: Ibrahim Abdelrazeq Ahmad Mashal, Ismaeel Abdullah Mousa Hijazi, Jamal Hammad Hussein Abu Saleh, Rajab Mohammad Shihadeh Tahan, Adnan Mohammad Ata Maragha, Ala’ Eddin Ahmad Rida Bazian, Naser Mousa Ahmad Abed Rabbo. The head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, Amjad Abu Asab, said that the District court judge extended the arrest of the 7 prisoners until Thursday to make the final decision by the “releasing committee” which is looking into enforcing the previous prison sentences on them; i.e. before they were released in the “Shalit” deal between Israel and Hamas in 2011. The freed prisoner were arrested last Wednesday morning from their homes in the city of Jerusalem and were transferred to Al-Ramleh prison and then to Al-Maskobyeh and the Magistrate court and are currently being detained in Al-Jalameh prison.
