The arrest of 12 citizens from Abu Dis, Ezaryeh and Al-Sawahreh
The Israeli forces arrested on Monday morning 12 citizens from the villages located southeast of Jerusalem during a raiding and searching campaign carried out in the villages. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli forces carried out a series of arrests in the villages of Ezaryeh, Abu Dis, Arab Al-Jahaleen and Al-Sawahreh and arrested the spokesman of the Popular Resistance Committees, Hani Halabieh; and Ashraf Dweik, Ramzi Abu Roumi, Ali Abu Ziad, Jamil Abu Ziad, Mahdi Qatmeereh, Mousa Far’oun, Jamil Abu Hilal, Ahmad Ayad, Mahmoud Jaffal, Kaith Jaffal and Mohammad Araiqat. The forces precisely searched the houses, damaged the contents and terrified the residents before carrying out the arrests. They also raided several commercial stores including a factory for glass owned by Eyad Qawasmi and precisely searched it along with a close-by house where the employees reside, and raided two mosques and Al-Quds University.
