The arrest of 52 Jerusalemites
For the second consecutive day, the Israeli police arrested dozens of Jerusalemites after raiding their homes in the city of Jerusalem and transferred them to Lod to be presented to the Magistrate court in Rishon Litzion. Assaulting the freed Jerusalemite prisoner Imad Eddin Abbasi Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, said that the occupation forces assaulted and severely beat Hajj Khalil Abdelrahim Abbasi and his son Emad who was transferred to Al-Maqased hospital for treatment as he suffered from several bruises all over his body; note that Emad was released from the Israeli prisons four days ago after serving an 11-month prison sentence. Assaulting Al-Qaq family The occupation forces also assaulted the young man Ziad Ahmad Al-Qaq from Silwan while arresting him and also assaulted his mother and sister as they were pushed to the ground. The occupation police said that they have arrested 601 Jerusalemites since the beginning of July (kidnapping and killing of Mohammad Abu Khdeir) including 427 adults and 174 minors, and they have submitted indictments against 190 of them.
