Extending the arrest of 9 Jerusalemites
The Magistrate court judge extended on Sunday the arrest of 9 Jerusalemites including two children from Al-Thori. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of the 12-year old Mohammad Amin Abdelrazeq and the 13-year old Mohammad Naser Abdelrazeq from Al-Thori until Tuesday. The lawyer pointed out that the Israeli forces arrested the two children on Wednesday afternoon while they were walking in the neighborhood of Al-Thori. The lawyer added that the Magistrate court judge also extended the arrest of Taha Abu Khdeir until 7/9/2014 which is when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report and discuss the possibility of releasing him with a financial bail and house arrest conditions; note that an indictment was submitted against him to the judge by the public prosecution. The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Seif, Mohammad Shannak, Saleh Dirbas, Hasan Abu Khdeir and the 15-year old Amjad Qawwas until Monday; note that an indictment will submitted against Qawwas on Monday. The prosecution also submitted an indictment against Ahmad Tawil.
