Extremists assault three Jerusalemites while working in the west side of the city

Dozens of extremists assaulted on Friday morning three Jerusalemites and severely beat them while they were working in “Paz” gas station west of Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that dozens of settlers assaulted the 23-year old Shadi Salim Abdel Khaleq Tamimi, 20-year old Hasan Qaraeen and Yousef Shawish while they were at their work location at 2 a.m. on Friday. Shadi Tamimi explained that a bus stopped by the gas station and several extremists got off the bus and one of them threw an empty bottle towards the gas station. Upon asking him about the reason of throwing the bottle, verbal altercations broke out and quickly turned into a fight and dozens of extremists joined and started assaulting the three men. Also, extremist females insulted and verbally assaulted the young men. Tamimi explained that he hit the emergency button to alert the police but they arrived after the assault was over. He also added that he was injured with bruises all over his body especially in his hands and head and was transferred to Hadassah hospital for treatment. Tamimi explained that his colleague Hasan Qaraeen was also assaulted by the extremists and one of them opened the fire extinguisher in his face. Tamimi pointed out that they were assaulted once before by four settlers after the Martyrdom of the child Mohammad Abu Khdeir.
