Clashes in Wadi Al-Joz and Silwan
The Israeli forces arrested on young man from the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz after assaulting and severely beating him, and assaulted one young man in Shu’fat.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that clashes renewed on Monday night in the neighborhood of Ein-Al-Lozeh in Silwan where the Israeli forces blocked the road leading to the Mountain and the young men threw stones and Molotov cocktails towards them. The forces also fired sound grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the young men and targeted the houses and properties of the residents; note that the clashes spread to the neighborhood of Bi’er Ayoub.
Clashes also broke out in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz and lasted for several hours in which the forces blocked one of the roads using the vehicles of the Special Forces and used the wastewater, sound grenades and rubber bullets.
The residents confirmed that the forces randomly fired the bombs towards the residents’ houses and also randomly and heavily used the wastewater in the street of Abdeen Mosque.
The forces arrested one young man after assaulting and severely beating him in Wadi Al-Joz, and also assaulted another young man, Taha Ibrahim Abu Khdeir, in Shu’fat using batons and the butts of their guns.
