An Israeli settler tried to hit Palestinian with his car
An Israeli settler attempted to run over Wadi Hilweh Popular Committee member Ahmed Qaraeen with his car yesterday. Qaraeen was standing outside the entrance to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center when the attack occured, as the settler swerved his vehicle deliberately and directly towards Qaraeen, hitting the crutch which Qaraeen currently uses to help him walk, since he was shot by another extremist settler in 2009. The settler fled immediately to what was the home of local resident Dawood Hussein, now occupied by Israeli settlers.
Qaraeen suffered serious injury last year when he was shot in front of the Elad's City of David Visitors center by an extremist Israeli settler.
