Releasing the activist Abeer Ziad and isolating her from Al-Aqsa Mosque
Al-Qishleh police released on Wednesday Al-Awqaf employee, Abeer Ziad, after handing her a decision which isolates her from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days and after signing a personal bail and a third-party bail. Abeer was arrested while she was standing in front of the iron barricades established on the entrance of Al-Nather Gate while she was on her way to work inside Al-Aqsa Mosque. She was surprised when an Israeli female soldier took her veil off her head and also tore her dress in a humiliating way. She then arrested her by pulling her from her hair and handcuffing her; note that several soldiers pushed her and assaulted her during the arrest while another female soldier choked her with her hand. The police charged Abeer with initiating riots and assaulting a policeman. Lawyers Omar Khamaysi and Ramzi Kateelat requested information about the soldiers who assaulted the activist Ziad.
