The Friday Prayer in the streets of Jerusalem and preventing men under the age of 50 from entering Al-Aqsa
October 10, 2014

Thousands of Palestinians were prevented from performing the Friday Noon Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque after the Israeli police imposed restriction on the entrance of male worshippers. The police decided on Thursday night to impose restriction on the entrance of male worshippers and prevented those under the age of 50 from entering. Worshippers were forces to perform the Noon Prayer in the streets of the city and in the alley of the Old City of Jerusalem and at Al-Aqsa Gates. The Israeli forces were heavily deployed in the streets of the city and the roads leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque; they launched a helicopter and a thermal airship in the sky of Jerusalem to monitor and photograph the movement of citizens. Hundreds of Jerusalemites also performed the Dawn Prayer on Friday in the streets of Jerusalem after they denied entrance to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
