During Sukkot, the Israeli forces break into Al-Aqsa twice and prevent women and young men from praying for seven days
The Israeli authorities continued the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the past 10 days and prevented Muslims from entering their Mosque during the period of the Jewish “Sukkot” holiday. Wadi Hilweh Information Center monitored the following: 7/10/2014: The Israeli authorities closed Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented women and young men from entering and performing the Noon, Afternoon, Evening and Night Prayers. 8/10/2014: The Israeli forces broke into Al-Aqsa and attacked the worshippers with grenades and rubber bullets. 10/10/2014: The authorities prevented men under the age of 50 from performing the Dawn and Friday Noon Prayers inside Al-Aqsa. 13/10/2014: The Israeli forces raided Al-Aqsa immediately after the Dawn Prayer and assaulted the worshippers and the Marabouts with grenades and rubber bullets and prevented women and men under the age of 50 from entering Al-Aqsa. 14/10/2014: A complete siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque and preventing women and young men from entering; note that all Prayers were carried out at Al-Aqsa Gates on that day. 15/10/2014: Continuing the siege on Al-Aqsa and preventing women and young men from performing the Dawn Prayer. Women were prevented from entering until 10 a.m. and men until 11:30 a.m. 17/10/2014: Preventing the Dawn and Friday Noon Prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
