The 20-year old freed prisoner Abdulrahman Shallodi from Silwan was severely injured on Wednesday night after directly opening fire at him by the guards of the light rail in the area of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem. According to one witness who was driving his car near Abdulrahman: “Shallodi was driving his car on street number “1” near the white monument. After passing the traffic light, he lost control of his car and hit a group of people that were standing at the train station.” The witness added that Shallodi immediately left his and was stunned by what had just happened but one guard came running and shot him from a close distance. It is noteworthy that Shallodi is a freed prisoner who was released on 22/12/2013 after spending 16 months inside the Israeli prisons and was arrested again in February for one month. According to the available information, nine Israelis were injured in the incident in which three of them are seriously injured. One source said that the young man was hit with three bullets and suffered severe bleeding in the stomach and underwent a surgery.
