Unjust conditions on the funeral of the Martyr Shallodi
The Magistrate court judge imposed on Friday afternoon unjust conditions to the funeral procession of the 20-year old Martyr Abdulrahman Shallodi. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, explained that the Magistrate court judge decided to give the Shallodi family their son’s body at 10 p.m. on Saturday near the cemetery of Lions Gate with the presence of80 persons only. The lawyer added that the judge prevented transferring the body to the martyr’s house in Silwan for the final look by his family and conditioned the washing of the body to occur inside the cemetery. The lawyer pointed out that the Israeli Intelligence requested to give the body to the family at 1 a.m. on Sunday with the presence of 20 people and also requested to hold the family responsible for any clashes that might occur during or after the funeral. The lawyer described the judge’s decision to be unjust and inhuman and is a revenge for the Martyr’s family and the Martyr himself.
