Israeli settler trashes Ramadan greetings banner in Wadi Hilweh
An Israeli settler has trashed a Palestinian banner in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan, report eyewitnesses. The banner, bearing traditional tidings of joy for the holy month of Ramadan, was torn down from a neighborhood street by the settler then dumped unceremoniously in a trash bin. Last year settlers in Silwan went so far as to file complaints to the Jerusalem municipality regarding traditional decorations for the holy Muslim celebrations of Eid and the Hajj pilgrimage. http://silwanic.net/?p=550
