The forces arrest a student, three children and one young man for listening to “National Songs”

The Israeli forces arrested the 17-year old Dalia Murad Mohammad Qarawi while she was walking in Salah Eddin Street in Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that Qarawi, a student at Al-Ma’moonyeh School, was arrested only meters away from the school after she had left school and was taken to Salah Eddin Street police station. The forces also arrested the 11-year old Bara’ Isam Shahin while he was walking in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan and transferred him to Al-Maskobyeh in West Jerusalem. The 14-year old student Azmi Kharwat was also arrested on Wednesday morning from in front of his school as he was going to school; the forces also fired sound grenades in the area. The forces also arrested the 14-year old student Raed Ahmad Abu Sara while he was heading to Al-Tur School. The child’s family explained that the Musta’ribeen unit arrested their son and assaulted him and they were informed of the arrest after the school had called them to inform them that their son did not attend school. The family added that they found out about their son’s arrest at 11 a.m. (two hours after the arrest) and that he was taken to Al-Maskobyeh and was interrogated alone. The family also added that their son was released with a 500-NIS bail, house arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail. Witnesses said that that the Israeli forces arrested a young man from Salah Eddin Street on Wednesday afternoon when he was listening to “National Songs”. He was suddenly pulled over by the forces that checked his ID and precisely search his car and then arrested him.
