Distributing 11 administrative demolition orders in Silwan

The occupation municipality continued the distribution of demolition orders for residential establishments in the neighborhoods of Silwan. The local of Silwan explained that the Israeli forces along with the municipality raided several neighborhoods in Silwan and took pictures of many houses, and then proceeded with distributing administrative demolition orders to some of them; note that some houses have been established for more than 30 years. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the municipality handed Shadi Sumrein an administrative demolition order for his house in the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh in Silwan. Sumrein explained that his 130-square meters house is still under construction and said that he was at work when the municipality crews handed his wife the demolition order. The municipality also handed the family of Abu Sneineh an order to demolish their house that was build more than 30 years ago. Suhaib Abu Sneineh explained that the municipality raided the family house in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Rababeh and handed them the administrative demolition order; note that their house is 100 square meters when Suhaib, his two brothers and mother live in the house. The house was owned by Suhaib’s father, the Martyr Saleh Abu Sneineh. The municipality also handed Alayan family a demolition order for their house which was built three months ago in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh. A member from the committee of protecting property in Silwan said that the municipality distributed 11 demolition orders on Wednesday which affected the families of Abbasi, Awwad, Odeh, Abdo, Risheq, Abu Sneineh and Sumrein. Three of the houses threatened to be demolished were established more than 30 years ago and more than 70 individuals live in those houses.
