Extending the arrest of 5 young men and releasing 10 others

The Magistrate court judge decided on Wednesday to release 10 Jerusalemites under conditions of financial bails and house arrest, and extended the arrest of one young man on charges of “incitement” on social media (Facebook) as well as four others young men. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the Magistrate judge released three minors, they are: Azmi Kharwat, Raed Abu Sara and Odai Radaydeh with a bail of 500 NIS and house arrest for 7 days for each; note that Kharwat and Abu Sara were arrested on Wednesday morning by the Musta’ribeen unit while they were heading to school in Al-Tur and they were assaulted and beaten. The judge also decided to release Mahmoud Abulhawa and Rami Darwish with a 500-NIS bail and house arrest for 7 days, and released Fadi Darwish with a 1500-NIS bail and house arrest for 7 days, and Ibrahim Batta, Amjad Tawil and Zakaria Abu Nab with a bail of 800 NIS and house arrest for 8 days for each. The judge also extended on Wednesday the arrest of Odai Bayoumi until Thursday on charges of “incitement” on social media (Facebook). Lawyer Mahmoud added that the judge released Ahmad Abu Sbeih without any conditions and extended the arrest of Riyad Abu Ta’a until 19/12/2014 I order to submit a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against him. The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Naser Obeid and Mohammad Issa Obeid until finishing all the legal procedures against them and extended the arrest of Seif Abu Ta’a until the beginning of next year which is when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report.
