Arresting three young men from Wad Al-Joz…and one child from Silwan
December 19, 2014

Violent clashes broke out on Friday night in the neighborhood of Wad Al-Joz in Jerusalem and the Musta’ribeen (undercover) unit arrested three young men and three others were injured with rubber bullets. The locals of Wad Al-Joz explained that a large number of Special Forces were stationed at the entrance of the neighborhood and then raided the street leading to Abdeen Mosque. The forces heavily fired sound and tear gas grenades and rubber bullets and the Musta’ribeen arrested three young men including Abdulrahman Kashur and his brother Burhan; note that they were from in front of their hours. In a related matter, Fakhri Abu Diab (member of the Committee for the Protection of Silwan Properties and Real Estate) said that the Israeli forces arrested the child Salah Mousa Aweida from the neighborhood of Al-Bustan in Silwan.
