One settler assaulted on Wednesday morning the Jerusalemite child Ibrahim Gheith from the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan while he was heading to school. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that a group of settlers assaulted the 14-year old child after he left his house in Al-Thori. The child’s father explained that a settler got out of a car that had several other settlers inside and attacked the child and tried to kidnap him but the child started screaming and managed to run away. Ibrahim’s fathers also added that the settlers were adults and are from one of the settlement outposts in Silwan. After the child started screaming, the locals gathered and the settler ran away towards the settlement outpost and the car immediately drove away. The locals called the police and the ambulance which transported the child to Shaare Zedek hospital for treatment. During the initial investigations, the police assaulted the child’s brother and father and pushed them.
