Clashes in Shu’fat refugee camp and the village of Esawyeh
Clashes broke out on Wednesday in Shu’fat refugee camp and the village of Esawyeh in the city of Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that clashes broke out in Shu’fat refugee camp after Special Forces raided the refugee camp and fired tear gas grenades at the same time when students were leaving their schools; note that many students suffocated. Witnesses explained that the occupation forces raided “Shweiki building” that is built across from the military checkpoint. Clashes also broke out on Wednesday night in the village of Esawyeh after an infantry force raided the village. Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained that three young men were injured in their lower limbs during the clashes. He added that the forces fired rubber bullets towards the locals’ property and damaged the windows of three cars.
