Releasing Mohammad Qawasmi and extensions of arrest
The occupation authorities released on Sunday the 26-year old Jerusalemite prisoner Mohammad Mahmoud Ali Qawasmi after completing his 36-month prison sentence. Qawasmi was arrested on 7/6/2012 only few days after his brother Mohannad was arrested. They were both exposed to harsh interrogating at Al-Maskobyeh cells; note that Mohannad was sentenced for 3 and a half years of actual imprisonment. Extensions of arrest… On the other hand, Al-Dameer organization lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Mousa and Anas Obeid until Tuesday, and Yazan Mheisen and Yousef Abu Jom’a until next Sunday. The public prosecution submitted on Sunday an indictment against Baha’ Ajloni and the judge extended his arrest for 24 hours. A session was held at the District court for Ali Obeidyeh and another session was scheduled for him on 29/06/2015. Amin Farroukh was presented to the judge and a session was scheduled on 6/5/2015 while Mohammad Abu Sneineh’s session will be on 10/6/2015 and Adham Qirresh on 15/7/2015; note that they are not detained as they were released with financial bails and other conditions but they are presented to the judge every now and then until he finally sentences them. The Magistrate judge also sentenced Mohammad Masri for 11 days of actual imprisonment, a 1000-NIS bail and a suspended probation of two months for two years; note that he is not detained. Esawyeh…raid and search Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, said that the occupation forces raided the house of Huthayfa Yousef Shreiteh in the village and searched it and also damaged some of its contents. The forces wanted to arrest Huthayfa who was not home and they ended up handing his family a call of investigation for Huthayfa.
