Extensions of arrest…releases
The Magistrate judge extended on Wednesday the arrest of five Jerusalemites for several days. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Saleh Abu Asab and Hussam Alayan until Thursday, and Mohammad A’nous until 19/6/2015; note that A’nous was arrested on Tuesday. The judge also extended the arrest of Suhaib Al-A’war until 22/6/2015. The court held a session to reduce the releasing conditions of Basel Sider and reduced the conditions by allowing him to go pray. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge released Mohammad Eweisat on condition of house-arrest for five days and a 200-NIS bail; Eweisat was arrested on Tuesday. In a related matter, Wadi Hilweh Information Center-Silwan was informed that the Magistrate judge decided to release the 17-year old Mohannad Zidan Da’san and the 16-year old Sharif Emad Abu Mayaleh but the public prosecution appealed the decision and the judge extended their arrest until tomorrow (Thursday); note that they were arrested from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan. On the other hand, the Magistrate court isolated on Wednesday Hajj Taha Shawahneh from the Old City of Jerusalem for 60 days, and Hajj Kheir Shaymi for days.
