The occupation closes a street in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud with cement blocks
The occupation authorities closed on Thursday the street of “Bilal neighborhood” in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan with cement blocks. Abu Rami Abu Rammouz, head of Al-Shayah Youth Union, explained that the occupation authorities closed the street in the area of Al-Shayah in Ras Al-Amoud using cement blocks and thus isolated “Aweis” street from “Bilal Neighborhood” street in the area. Abu Rammouz added that closing the street led to the isolation of “Bilal Neighborhood” from its surroundings and the locals were forced to take alternative roads to get to their houses which also created heavy traffic jams and lack of parking spots. The closure also prevents ambulances and fire trucks to reach the houses in case of any emergency.
